As a Volunteer Coordinator I assisted in recruiting, training and scheduling a volunteer team of 300+ participants.

I also oversaw the Youth Volunteer Photography Program, an educational initiative for high school students to learn from experienced photographers.

...and converted a car into a giant pinhole camera! Photo by Karl Ong.

The car-camera was then driven around Toronto, taking photos that were later displayed at Luminato's Festival Hub at David Pecaut Square.

The Volunteer Office also created opportunities for Torontonians to book the Festival Hub for their own activities.

I coordinated the Visual Arts projects for the 2016 festival. Here, photographer Scott McFarland photographs one of the objects from the Trove project: a brass gorget worn by an Indigenous warrior in the Battle of York, 1813.

I coordinated logistics and secured permits for the installation of public artworks at 80+ sites throughout Toronto.
